Current Status: Nephin Enterprises has a patent approved status on it’s Continuously Variable Transmission. This status was received in early 2004. Since that date, Nephin Enterprises has begun researching licensing agents who are capable of undertaking the task of representing the product to vendors in the automotive industry. This is deemed a critical task to the commercial success of the product. Refinement and development of the Continuously Variable Transmission occurs on a continual basis.

Opportunities: The market has been slow to adapt to CVT Technology since it has typically only been available in lower powered cars, and small utility/all terrain vehicles. The market that this product will be geared toward, are the drivers who demand higher performance and who require vehicles with all wheel drive.
